The SHARK SISTERS are a fun, acoustic trio of multi-talented gal pals making waves and capturing hearts in Southwest Florida. Enjoy a special evening with the "jawsome" sisterhood as they share their innermost secrets about life, love, shopping and maturity along with classic folk, Americana, country and blues favorites that are sure to rock your boat.
Showcasing the humor and musical talents of Brenna Larson, Beth Travers, and Coleen Marren, the group blends heartfelt songwriting with heavenly harmonies and instrumentals to deliver a uniquely entertaining experience.
Brenna Larson is a gifted vocalist and songwriter who combines warmth and wit to create intimate and, often, hilarious views on life as a woman in today's world. Brenna spent the first half of her career as a folksinger/soloist in Atlanta and Boston, and the second half in the corporate world as a global marketer. Now in her "third half," Brenna is back singing, writing, recording and touring as a solo artist and with The SHARK SISTERS. Brenna's recent album, LIKE FINE WINE, is a collection of her originals that includes poignant love songs along with a few sips of true confessions and other stuff that tickles her funny bone. Beth Travers is an accomplished singer/songwriter and Nashville recording artist who has had songs recorded by numerous performers in the pop, gospel and country markets. A multi-instrumentalist, Beth plays guitar, mandolin and bass. She has recorded and toured with Stella Parton, Ray Stevens, Johnny Russell and others, playing major venues including the “Grand Ole Opry.” With a passion for helping others, Beth devoted her most recent career to working internationally for a major non-profit organization before returning to the music business. She is also a partner in a Nashville production and sound studio, dbproductionsnashville.com. Beth's upcoming album, LATE BLOOMER, is slated to be released in 2019.
Coleen Marren loves to sing the blues and belts it out with a unique, gutsy style, and music has always been her hobby and passion. Her vibrant harmonica, guitar and mandolin playing enhance The Shark Sisters' eclectic sound. Coleen spent her career in television as a senior news executive managing and producing a wide array of award-winning broadcast and digital operations in TV newsrooms across the US. Recently retired from broadcasting, Coleen serves as a career coach for rising news reporters and executives, and performs with The SHARK SISTERS.
As a trio of dynamic adventurers and career women, The SHARK SISTERS chose the shark as their spirit animal because they believe life begins at the edge of one's comfort zone. With their music, they hope to inspire each other --and others -- to continue living on the edge, boldly growing and taking risks, while always keeping a healthy sense of humor.
Keep calm, THE SHARK SISTERS are here!
